Sell your saddle

Selling your saddle is easier with us compared to majority of other used saddle suppliers since we only purchase our saddles outright. We do not take saddles on behalf of customers on a commission based structure, meaning the cash is in your account much faster with far less hassle.

The offers we make for outright purchases are made based on the saddle’s current market value minus our margin. These are trade offers and they are not a true or official valuation.

In some cases, an offer will be made but with the requirement of a part exchange through ourselves. (This appears more with saddles of significant value, niche specifications and high end brands.)

When an offer is accepted, you can choose to either bring the saddle to our showroom and carry out the transaction in person, or, we can arrange for the saddle to be collected from you via a courier.

For saddles that would require shipping to us, we pay out the accepted offer via BACS upon the saddle arriving with us on the basis that the saddle is as described etc. If you require payment prior to dispatching the saddle to us, PayPal Goods and Services is strictly the only method of payment we can use. Please note that we do not cover fees incurred by PayPal.

It is important that any signs or damage or usage are addressed and are shown clearly in your photos. Failure in doing so will result in your saddle being returned and a reversal of the transaction with yourself being liable to the postal fees for the saddle to and from us.

Please note that due to high volume, if your saddle does not fall under one of the following brands, or is one that we would not be looking to take on, then your submission if not necessarily guaranteed a response. All submissions, regardless of brand, are reviewed within 5 working days of receiving. If no response has been returned within this time, then it can be safely assumed that your saddle is not one that we would be looking to take on at this time, though it is possible that we can reach out to you following this period should circumstances change.
